Editorial Policy

The standards behind every review, comparison and guide on EwaGlow.

Our standards

We write like editors, not salespeople. That means warm, clear and balanced language, no exaggerated promises, and recommendations that always come with their limitations.

You won't find words like "miracle", "guaranteed results" or "perfect for everyone" on EwaGlow. Beauty products work differently for different people, and our writing reflects that.

How We Review

01
Define who it is for Every review starts with the need, skin or hair type and budget a product claims to serve.
02
Research the formula We read the ingredient list and the brand’s claims, and look for independent evidence where it exists.
03
Assess what we can Texture, application, packaging and value are described from hands-on use when it happened — and clearly attributed when it did not.
04
Weigh strengths and limits Pros and cons are written together, with a note on who may want to skip the product.
05
Keep it current Reviews are revisited when meaningful information changes, and updates are dated.

Where Information Comes From

Every article makes clear which kind of information a statement is based on:

Manufacturer claim What the brand says the product does — reported as the brand’s claim.
Ingredient-based reasoning What an ingredient is generally known for, without promising results.
Editorial opinion Our judgement, clearly written as opinion.
Personal testing Hands-on observations — only when testing actually took place.
Third-party evidence Published studies or independent sources, linked where possible.

We only say EwaGlow personally tested a product when that testing actually took place.

Ratings

Overall ratings and score breakdowns are assigned by the editor and shown only where they exist. We never generate scores to fill empty fields or to earn search-result star ratings.

Health and safety

EwaGlow does not diagnose conditions or recommend medical treatment. Skin reactions vary, and we remind readers where a patch test may be useful. For persistent or medical skin concerns, please consult a qualified professional.

Updates and corrections

Articles are reviewed and updated when meaningful information changes — a reformulation, a discontinued product, new evidence. The "Last updated" date reflects those revisions. If you spot an error, tell us; confirmed corrections are made promptly.
